Treatment
Trouble In Paradise
Zoltar, is a skinny gangly Viking who roams the coast of France and Spain attacking and looting villages and castles
The idea that I want to convey is the feeling of having everything, and then realizing that you still want to chase after something. The feeling of being a man and never being able to settle down.
The story will begin with a view of Zoltar in a Viking boat riding towards a island with a castle on it.
With the boat in the background we can see the black silhouette of Zoltar slumping behind a bush. He sneaks to hide behind another bush and slowly peeks over the top, we see his eyes squinting. We then see the humble castle which he wishes to conquer all by himself.
Zoltar smiles and runs towards the castle hooting and hollering like he has a whole army with him. He reaches a giant gate and pulls his axe back to begin striking it. Freeze frame, and the title “Trouble in Paradise” pops up in Nordic letters.
Before he can strike the door it creaks open and short little friendly people start emerging from inside. Zoltar is confused by their behavior. They whisk him inside the castle and escort him to meet the King and his beautiful daughter. The daughter immediately falls in love with Zoltar. The King sees this. The king immediately has a crown brought out and given to Zoltar. They take away Zoltars helmet, axe and shield. He is placed on a throne.
A couple days go by.
Early in the morning Zoltar looks out of the castle at other castles on the horizon. He is restless, he is used to attacking castles, but now that he has one he doesn’t know what to do with himself.
The Princess wakes up. She goes looking for Zoltar, she sees his crown and robe sitting on the floor. She looks out from where we last saw Zoltar. She sees his boat sailing towards another castle to attack on the horizon.
